Britain must brace itself for a crippling series of strikes, protests and widespread civil disobedience, the leader of the country’s biggest union warned yesterday. Len McCluskey, general secretary of Unite, said the anger felt by millions of hard-working families towards the Government’s cuts ‘needs to find a release’.
