Israelis in tents

וְאָנֹכִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ, מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם; עֹד אוֹשִׁיבְךָ בָאֳהָלִים, כִּימֵי מוֹעֵד

I am the Lord your God from the land of Egypt, I will again settle you in tents, as in days of old

Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv, one of the city's most upscale boulevards, is now home to a ten-block-long tent city, populated by students, families and working-class Israelis protesting the soaring cost of living and demanding more affordable housing in Israel. Many sleep in the tens overnight, whether or not they have an apartment nearby, go to work during the day, and return in the evening. Something's happening in Israel, and as one sign read: zot rak ha'hatchala -- this is only the beginning...
